Greetings. After last week’s “heavy” rendition of what Spiritual Energy attunements are and why you want them, I thought I’d try to get really practical this week in answering those same questions!

When Richard and I first started working with Adriene Wentworth, the creator of the Christa Healing Method® and the Christa Energy Attunements™, we were ready to make some real changes in our lives. Healing and spiritual development had been important pieces for both of us, pretty much throughout our entire lives. Our wedding vows, which we wrote ourselves, even contained language about helping each other grow into the person that God wants us to be: whole, happy, full of Life and Joy!

By the time we met Adriene, we were RIPE for what she had to offer. And even though both Richard and I have pretty strong intellectual bents, our decision to work with Adriene and make use of the healing and spiritual development tools she offered was not made from our heads. This decision was made from the GUT and HEART levels of our being. After our first Christa Healing session, we knew with certainty that we wanted more healing work and we wanted what the Level One Christa Energy Attunement could give us!

Why? Well, first of all, we were very aware of the fact that there is Evil in this world and that anytime someone really wants to break loose of limiting patterns and behaviors and grow in their own sense of personal power -- like being able to stand up for themselves when someone tries to cut them down or to not get all stress out whenever they go to visit family -- those “dark forces,” which have a vested interest in each and every one of us staying small and in fear and in denial of their game, are going to do whatever is necessary to keep a person from breaking through and taking back all the personal power that they have given over or that has been taken from them.

We knew about protecting ourselves with White Light but we also knew instinctively that this was not enough. The old ways of doing energetic protection are only as effective as the person’s ability to hold that protection in place through their CONSCIOUS intent and focus.

What happens when you have an emotional upset and your “guard” is down? The door opens and you are vulnerable to energies that you would not consciously choose to connect with.

Or what happens when you celebrate St. Patty’s Day just a little too much and your energy system is not as strong as it needs to be in order to be truly protected? Again, openings are created in the energy field that allow negative outside energies to come in and take hold. In fact, most people with addictions are likely going to have other people’s energies and probably even astral entities attached like leaches to their energy system. And these attached energy parasites can make it really hard to shift OUT of that addictive behavior. Clearing them can make a HUGE difference in their recovery efforts.

Or what happens when you’re working closely with someone who’s struggling with some kind of trauma and out of compassion you open up and find it really hard to stay OUT of their energies? The next thing you know your not feeling so well yourself.

Or what happens when you go to sleep at night and leave your body to go off to do your “night work?” It’s kind of hard to maintain conscious connection to White Light when you’re sleeping! In the stories that Adriene Wentworth tells in her Cosmic Kick radio series, she talks very plainly about not being able to sleep very well because of her heightened awareness of dark energies that were plaguing her and her small daughter when Adriene was in the early stages of her spiritual awakening process.

And so when we learned that by working with Level One of the Christa Energy we would be able to build permanent energetic protection throughout our energy systems and that, once built, it would always be in place and working for us even when we were not consciously engaged in protecting our energy system, we knew that we wanted that ASAP!

That the Christa Energy would also help us awaken to greater parts of self and to help to deepen and quicken our healing process, was also very attractive to us. Again we were RIPE and READY for upping our healing and spiritual development process to new levels and we sensed intuitively that the tools that Adriene Wentworth has been guided to develop were going to be a tremendous help to that process.

And it’s been quite a ride and it’s been one that has meant no turning back! But without a doubt, the journey has been worth it and it only continues to get better as the foundation we've created gets stronger and stronger!

When I think about what a ride the spiritual healing journey has been for both of us thus far, I invariably get an image from a road trip that Richard and I made back in 1992. We were on a vision quest to explore different parts of the upper Great Plains to get a feel for where we’d like to live. We were in the Southern Black Hills of South Dakota, just west of Custer. We wanted to head south toward Edgemont and even though the road we started on was initially paved, road signs told us that construction work lay ahead, which meant the paving was off and the surface down to bare dirt.

Now, it had rained sometime in the recent past and even thought the road signs said this particular highway was closed to through traffic (local traffic only), I encouraged us to keep going as it was the most direct route – which is such typical Type 3 approach! – and even though we were driving our little 2-wheel drive Mazda pickup!

Well, needless-to-say, the road got a rather greasy in spots and the only thing Richard could do was to KEEP DRIVING FORWARD!! The very last thing we wanted to do was to slow down, stop and try to turn around and head back!! We’d have been stuck for sure!

And so we kept moving forward – thanks to Richard’s very skilled driving abilities (all his horsing around as a teenager paid off!) – and eventually the road surface was hard again and we made it to our destination without having to take any big detours!

Time and again over the years that story has served as inspiration along our healing and spiritual journeys! Because once the spiritual awakening process happens, there really is no going back to sleep. Your choices are three: 1) to engage and embrace the process and “enjoy” the ride; 2) stay in resistance and be miserable; or 3) leave the planet!  Seriously!

Whether you are aware of it or not, the whole of humanity and the Earth are in the midst of a great spiritual awakening process. More than likely you’re undergoing your own awakening process -- whether you’ve been fast asleep OR have been somewhat awake and find yourself being pushed to wake up even more fully. The signs can be restlessness, depression, anxiety, or an inner pressure that won’t go away. Or a sense that there is more to life than just getting up and going to work every day and coming home at night to crash in front of the TV. Or you’ve got a dream or desire that you just cannot squelch or ignore anymore. These are the signs of a spiritual awakening and are an invitation to seek out spiritual healing!

(No antidepressant or antianxiety medication is going to truly help if your Soul is trying to get you to wake up and heal at real, core levels.)

And as I said last week, as spiritual beings who have chosen the human package, we have conscious free will. We are faced with choices all the time and so why not make the most of the opportunities that Spirit AND your own Soul are presenting to you right now to wake up even more and to heal more quickly and deeply than you've thought possible!

Along the way of my own spiritual and healing journey, the most powerful and effective tools that I’ve come across to help make the most of these awakening and healing opportunities are the ones that Adriene Wentworth has developed: the Christa Healing Method® and the Energy Attunements to the Christa Energy and the AnaMata Energy.

The Christa Healing Method® is able to facilitate the release of the CORE LEVEL causes of any block within your energy system that is creating an outward effect in your life that you experience as limiting and disempowering: bad relationships; emotional struggles; limiting belief about yourself or the way the world works; physical illness, job/career dissatisfaction, financial struggles, addictive or unwanted behaviors, etc.

Or, think of a river that’s trying to flow but can’t because of the ice jams that have piled up along the way. Sometimes the healing work is about going in and blasting the jams apart with a big force. Other times it’s a careful deconstruction of the blockages in order to safely unlock the dam.

Or, think of your body all covered in layer and layers of clothing because you’re trying to protect yourself from without or hide something within. You can hardly move and are in danger of being smothered or toppling over and being unable to right yourself! Christa Healing can help you shed all those layers that you don’t need AND the Christa Energy helps you feel SAFE to let go of that which is no longer serving you or your highest good!

Another image I use is that of a magnet buried under layers and layers of junk stuck to it.

Ideally your energy system with your all your energy bodies - spiritual, mental, emotional, etheric, physical - is a clean, clear, glowing orb of Light that is fully connected to the Source of that Light (GOD) and that is grounded beautifully and securely into the Earth. God’s energy flows freely throughout all the levels, through all of the thousands and thousands of energy channels that course throughout your energy bodies and through which you express all of the spiritual gifts and abilities that are yours by birthright. This is the ideal; this is what we’re supposed to look like and function like.

Unfortunately, MOST of us look instead like these dark, dense, heavily layered heaps of debris through which our inner Light has a hard time shining through or is only able to reach the surface through tiny cracks and openings or is barely a flicker because it’s so cut off from its Source.

As Free Will beings we have been free FROM THE BEGINNING of our Soul’s journey many, many, many, many lifetimes ago, to make choices that run counter to our true Light-filled nature. And in our shame, we may have started to cover up our light. Or it got covered because we experienced something that made us afraid to show it. Or the flow got shut off to different parts of our energy system and so the Light isn’t even reaching those parts anymore. And because when our Soul’s were young we didn’t know how to heal these experiences along the way, these “bad” or limiting experiences started to pile up and pretty soon we were vibrating at such low frequencies that we just kept attracting more bad experiences and wound up buried even further under all of our UNHEALED STUFF!

Well, when you get attuned to the Level One Christa Energy, your connection to the Source is strengthened in a real and heightened way. Even more, Light is once again brought into ALL of your energy channels in ALL of your Energy Bodies. And as you work with the Level One Christa Energy, you start to fill up with Light again from the INSIDE out and that Energy's Light is going to start to break up and loosen and even dissolve all those blockages, all those stucknesses. Some pieces will be healed or released “spontaneously.” Others will be brought into your conscious awareness and to the “surface” of your energy system so that with the help of powerful tools like the Christa Healing Method® (which you can learn to do for yourself!) you will be able to clear those pieces and restore even more of your ability to HOLD Light and shine it forth.

And, because of you’ve got the powerful support tool of the Christa Energy working constantly on your behalf and helping you to get more and more plugged into your Light Source, you can be freed of all that you release FOR GOOD, without worry that it’s just going to get recreated in spite of your best intentions. 

And as this strengthening and healing starts to really take hold in your life and in your consciousness, you are truly going to see real and positive shifts within yourself and within all areas of your life. As Carol Tuttle says in her book Remembering Wholeness, if you want to change your outer world you have to be willing to change your inner world. And that means welcoming and embracing your healing work -- no matter how muddy and yucky or rough the road gets!
